His investigation leads him to suspect that the fire may have been set intentionally to cover up evidence of a larger conspiracy. Meanwhile, his wife Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy) finds herself in the middle of a heated debate about women's suffrage when she attends a rally organized by one of her patients.
As Murdoch's team works to rebuild their precinct and investigate the fire, they find themselves faced with new challenges and obstacles. With the help of his colleagues Detective George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) and Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig), Murdoch must navigate the complex web of deceit and corruption that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. Along the way, he uncovers shocking secrets and dangerous alliances that could upend the entire police force.
