Jessica Fletcher is at it again, solving mysteries in the small town of Cabot Cove. In season 6 episode 21, titled "The Szechuan Dragon," Jessica finds herself caught up in a murder investigation when the owner of a local Chinese restaurant is found dead.
The victim, Tony Chang, was the owner of the popular Szechuan Dragon restaurant in Cabot Cove. He was well-liked by the community and known for his delicious Chinese cuisine. But someone wanted him dead, and Jessica is determined to find out who and why.
As Jessica begins to investigate, she uncovers a web of secrets and hidden motives. Tony had many enemies, including his own son, who had a history of gambling problems and owed Tony a large sum of money. There is also the matter of a stolen jade amulet, which was found on the victim's body and is believed to hold great value.
With the help of the local sheriff, Jessica delves deeper into the case and interviews a wide range of suspects, including the victim's family members, employees of the restaurant, and even some of the patrons who were dining at the Szechuan Dragon the night of the murder.
As she gets closer to the truth, Jessica realizes that the motive for the murder may have been something entirely different than what she originally suspected. With her classic wit and intellect, she pieces together the clues and pieces of evidence, ultimately leading to the shocking reveal of the killer's identity.
