Jessica Fletcher, played by Angela Lansbury, goes on a book tour to promote her latest mystery novel. She lands in Beverly Hills on a Thursday, and it seems like fate has a strange sense of humor, as there is already a murder case waiting for her.

A wealthy movie producer, Douglas McMartin, has been found dead in his Beverly Hills mansion, and the police have no idea who the killer is. The suspicious circumstances surrounding the producer's death, coupled with the gossip that everyone in Hollywood is talking about, lead Jessica to believe that this is no ordinary murder.

While her tour manager, Harry, is trying to keep Jessica focused on promoting her book, she can't resist the allure of solving a good mystery. So, with her trademark notebook in hand, she begins to investigate the case.

Jessica soon finds out that Douglas McMartin was not just a well-respected movie producer, but he was also an incredibly cruel and manipulative man who had a lot of enemies. His wife, his ex-wife, his business partners, his employees, and even the maids of his household - everyone had a motive to kill him.

As the investigation progresses, Jessica starts to suspect that things might not be as they seem, and the murder case might actually be a cover-up for something much bigger. She starts to peel away layer after layer of lies and deceit until she comes across a shocking revelation that will leave the audience gasping.

The episode is a classic whodunit with all the hallmarks of a Murder, She Wrote story. Jessica Fletcher is at her best, charming and witty, but also incredibly sharp and observant. The mystery is intriguing and will keep the audience guessing until the very end.

If It's Thursday, It Must Be Beverly is a great episode for fans of the show. It is full of familiar faces from the Golden Age of Hollywood, and it has some great twists and turns that will keep viewers engaged. Angela Lansbury delivers another great performance as Jessica Fletcher, and the supporting cast is also excellent.

Overall, If It's Thursday, It Must Be Beverly is a must-watch episode for fans of Murder, She Wrote. It represents everything that made the show so enjoyable and memorable, and it is a great example of why it is still popular with audiences today.
