A mystery writer turned amateur detective, Jessica Fletcher (played by Angela Lansbury), returns in season 12 of Murder, She Wrote to solve yet another murder. In the thirteenth episode, titled Death Goes Double Platinum, Jessica finds herself in the glamorous world of the music industry.
Jessica travels to Nashville to visit her good friend and country music star, Cissy Barnes (played by Patti LuPone), who is about to release her latest album.
