Mary Ann hires Jessica as a consultant to help her appraise the value of the collection in the hopes of selling it.
Upon Jessica's arrival in Amsterdam, she is immediately met with hostility from the locals who do not want her meddling in their business. But Jessica perseveres and sets out to complete her task. However, her assessment is soon cut short when the lead expert she consults with is found murdered in his office. But Jessica thinks something is amiss and begins to do her own investigation.
As she digs deeper, Jessica uncovers the truth behind the victim's death and realizes that it's somehow related to Mary Ann's art collection. She believes the killer is still at large and may be targeting Mary Ann next.
