Ep 15. Paint Me A Murder

In the fifteenth episode of Murder, She Wrote's first season titled "Paint Me A Murder," Jessica Fletcher finds herself investigating yet another case of murder in the quaint town of Cabot Cove.

The episode opens with Jessica attending an art exhibition hosted by Amy Hazlitt, a talented young artist who has just returned to town after several years of living in Europe. While admiring the paintings on display, Jessica overhears a heated argument between Amy and her fiancé, Adam Lane. Apparently, Adam has just sold one of Amy's paintings without her knowledge or consent.

The next morning, Jessica receives a call from Amy's mother, who informs her that Amy has been found dead in her studio. Jessica rushes over to the scene and begins to investigate the crime. It quickly becomes clear that Amy's death was not an accident, and that someone had intentionally killed her.

As Jessica delves deeper into the case, she uncovers a number of possible suspects. There's Adam, who had a motive to kill Amy after their argument the night before. Then there's Amy's former lover, who has just returned to town and was seen arguing with her shortly before her death. There's also the wealthy art collector who had recently purchased one of Amy's paintings and was rumored to be romantically interested in her.

Jessica's investigation takes her to various locations around town, including the art gallery, the victim's studio, and the homes of several suspects. She interviews numerous individuals, some of whom are more cooperative than others. Through her sharp wit and insightful observations, Jessica is able to piece together the clues and eventually identify the killer.

As always, Murder, She Wrote keeps viewers guessing until the very end. With its strong cast of characters, plenty of plot twists, and Jessica's trademark charm, Paint Me A Murder is a must-watch episode for fans of the series.
