Gonzo-rella/Summer's Car Trouble is the nineteenth episode of season three of Muppet Babies. The episode opens with Gonzo, who has always had a passion for being different, trying to create the perfect invention that will make him stand out from the rest of the Muppet Babies. But no matter how hard he tries, nothing seems to work. Gonzo becomes very frustrated and upset that he can't seem to find his niche and decides to give up.
Meanwhile, Summer is super excited because her parents are going to take her and the Muppet Babies to the beach in their cool camper van. However, the excitement soon comes to an end when they discover that the van won't start. The Muppet Babies try to come up with solutions to get the van up and running, but nothing works.
As Gonzo is feeling defeated, Miss Nanny comes in with some good news. It's the annual Muppetland Ball, and everyone is invited to attend. Gonzo is thrilled to hear this and immediately asks Miss Nanny if he can go. She says yes but reminds him that he must be home before midnight.
When the Muppet Babies arrive at the ball, they are amazed by all the decorations and the music. Everyone is dressed in fancy clothes, and the atmosphere is magical. Gonzo is excited to be there but soon realizes that he doesn't fit in with the other Muppets and feels disappointed. But then, he hears a voice calling his name and turns around to see Rizzo the Rat dressed in a beautiful gown. Rizzo tells him that he is there to help him feel like he belongs and takes him under her wing.
As they dance together, Gonzo forgets about his worries and enjoys the moment. However, as the clock strikes midnight, Gonzo realizes that he needs to leave the ball and head back home. Rizzo tells him that he doesn't have to go and that he can stay with her, but Gonzo knows that he needs to leave. As he runs out of the ball, he loses his shoe on the steps just as the clock strikes midnight.
The next morning, the Muppet Babies are still trying to come up with a solution to fix the camper van, but nothing seems to work. Gonzo enters and tells them what happened at the ball, and they are all amazed. Gonzo realizes that being different is what makes him special and that he shouldn't try to be like everyone else. Just then, Summer's dad calls out to them, telling them that the camper van is finally fixed and ready to go.
The Muppet Babies all pile into the van, and they drive off to the beach. Gonzo is still wearing one of Rizzo's glass slippers, and the Muppet Babies tease him, calling him Gonzo-rella. Despite their teasing, Gonzo is happy and comfortable with who he is, and that is what truly matters.
In conclusion, Gonzo-rella/Summer's Car Trouble is a heartwarming episode of Muppet Babies that teaches young viewers the importance of embracing themselves, even if they feel different from everyone else. The episode is full of laughs, magic, and life lessons that will stay with children long after the show has ended. It's a must-watch for fans of the Muppet Babies, both young and old.
