In the Muppet Babies season 2 episode 10, titled "Chicken Round-Up/Summer's Snow Cone Stop," the gang is faced with two exciting adventures on a hot summer day.
In the first half of the episode, "Chicken Round-Up," the Muppet Babies are playing in the backyard when they stumble upon a group of chickens who have escaped their coop. Kermit, as the natural leader of the group, takes charge of trying to round up the chickens and get them back in their coop before Miss Nanny notices they're missing. The gang comes up with a plan to lure the chickens back into their coop using popcorn and a feather duster as a makeshift rooster. However, when the chickens prove to be too tricky to catch, the Muppet Babies are forced to come up with a new plan. They try to use puppets to entertain the chickens and distract them while they sneak up and capture them, but chaos ensues when Animal gets too excited and scares the chickens away. In the end, it's Fozzie's clever idea to use a giant inflatable chicken to lure the chickens back into their coop, saving the day and avoiding Miss Nanny's wrath.
In the second half of the episode, "Summer's Snow Cone Stop," the Muppet Babies are trying to beat the heat by opening up their own snow cone stand. Summer takes charge of the operation and designs the stand, while Gonzo uses his imagination to come up with unusual snow cone flavors like pickles and pizza. However, things quickly get out of hand when the Muppet Babies realize they don't know how to make snow cones or handle the influx of customers. Fozzie's attempts at making snow cones end in disaster, while Animal's enthusiasm results in him eating all the profits. It's up to Summer to come up with a solution and save the day, using her resourcefulness and teamwork to turn the failed snow cone stand into a successful lemonade stand instead.
Overall, "Chicken Round-Up/Summer's Snow Cone Stop" is a fun and lighthearted episode that showcases the Muppet Babies' teamwork and creativity even in the face of unexpected challenges. Will they manage to successfully round up the chickens and avoid getting in trouble with Miss Nanny, or will their snow cone stand fail miserably? Tune in to find out!
