Ep 1. The Froginizer / My Fair Animal

The Muppet Babies are back for a second season, and the first episode is packed with two exciting adventures. In "The Froginizer," Kermit decides to upgrade his abilities when he feels left out of the gang's superhero playtime. He enlists the help of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker to build him a suit that will give him super strength, speed and the ability to fly like a frog. However, things don't go as planned when the suit malfunctions, causing Kermit to gain frog-like qualities, including an insatiable appetite for bugs. The other Muppet Babies must step in and save Kermit from himself before his frog-like behavior causes chaos in the nursery. As always, the gang learns important lessons about friendship, using teamwork and accepting each other's differences.

In the second part of the episode, "My Fair Animal," Animal's wild and unpredictable behavior causes him to feel left out from his friends, who are playing fashion show. When their outfits don't match his style, Animal is hurt and upset. Miss Nanny suggests Animal take etiquette lessons from her friend, Aunt Fanny, so he can learn how to conduct himself in social situations. But as they soon discover, there is much more to manners than just saying "please" and "thank you." Animal struggles with his boisterous personality and learning to control his impulses. But with the help of his friends, he ultimately realizes that it's okay to be himself, even if it means being a little wild and unpredictable at times.

Both stories in this episode perfectly capture what makes Muppet Babies such a beloved children's show - it's full of fun, adventure, humor, and important life lessons. Kids will love seeing Kermit in his superhero suit and watching as Animal learns the importance of manners and being true to himself. As the Muppet Babies continue to explore and discover the world around them, children will learn alongside their favorite characters and have a blast doing it.
