Description
MTV's Top Pop Group is a reality contest show that aired on MTV in 2008. The show lasted for four episodes and was canceled due to ratings. During its short air time, Mario Lopez was the host. The show had nine groups and each groups were critiqued by three judges- Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, choreographer Brian Friedman, and Taboo, from the Black Eye Peas. Each week the group performs in front of the audience and the judges. The group are voted by phone and also online. The group with the lowest votes gets eliminated and lose a chance of winning the title of Top Pop Group. The show lasted for four weeks.
