In the episode "Haunted House" of Mr. Bean: The Animated Series season 3, Mr. Bean realizes that his house is haunted. He hears strange noises and sees objects moving on their own. To solve the mystery, he decides to investigate by himself but things don't go as planned.
Mr. Bean starts by setting up a series of traps to catch the ghost, including a bucket on top of the door to catch the ghost when it walks in. Unfortunately for Mr. Bean, the bucket falls on his head instead. He also sets up a camera to capture the ghost on video but ends up filming himself instead.
As Mr. Bean continues his investigation, the ghost becomes more and more active. Chairs begin to move on their own, and a creepy looking painting of a man with an axe on the wall suddenly comes to life and starts chasing him. Mr. Bean tries to escape but the ghost keeps following him everywhere he goes.
During his search, Mr. Bean discovers a hidden passage leading to a secret room he hadn't seen before. Inside, he finds an old diary from the 18th century with a ghost story that seems to match the events happening in his own house. He learns that the ghost is the spirit of a former resident, who was wrongly accused of a crime and died in the house.
Armed with this new information, Mr. Bean comes up with a plan to put the ghost to rest. He finds the old resident's grave and gives him a proper burial, hoping it will put the ghost to rest. In the meantime, the ghost continues to terrorize Mr. Bean, but eventually, it becomes clear that the burial worked. The ghost disappears, and Mr. Bean's house returns to its normal, non-haunted state.
Overall, “Haunted House” in Mr. Bean: The Animated Series season 3 is an entertaining episode that delivers a good mix of humor and suspense. The animation is well-done, and the story is engaging. This episode is a great addition to the series, and it's sure to keep fans of the show entertained from beginning to end.
