Enchanting! Miss Agriculture is the sixth episode of Moyashimon's first season. The episode starts off with our protagonist, Tadayasu Sawaki, entering the university's agriculture area to look for his old friend, Kei Yuuki. Kei is with a group of girls who are discussing how to make a compost heap, and Tadayasu is excited to see how crops can be grown with the use of fermentation.
Later on, Kei introduces Tadayasu to his teacher, Haruka Hasegawa, also known as Miss Agriculture. She is a beautiful, young teacher who is famous for her successful research on crops, and Tadayasu is immediately smitten with her. He even imagines her as a goddess of agriculture.
As the episode continues, Tadayasu attends a lecture where Miss Agriculture discusses the importance of microorganisms in the soil. She shows the students a sample of soil under a microscope, explaining how the microbes are responsible for breaking down organic matter, which makes the soil fertile. Tadayasu is fascinated by the subject and is filled with a newfound respect for the tiny organisms he can't even see.
After the lecture, Kei and Tadayasu hang out with Miss Agriculture, who invites them to her lab. There, Tadayasu smells something strange and realizes that Miss Agriculture is using fermented plants to create a new type of fertilizer. She tells him that the plants produce good bacteria that help to promote healthy soil, which in turn leads to better crop production.
Miss Agriculture then shows the boys her germ-free greenhouse where she grows her crops. Tadayasu is once again in awe of her skills and knowledge in the agricultural field. While they are there, Kei asks Miss Agriculture for advice on his project, and she happily agrees to help him. She tells him to use a type of fungus found in soy sauce to increase the soil's fertility and improve crop production.
The episode ends with Tadayasu walking home, looking up at the stars and reflecting on everything he learned from Miss Agriculture. He realizes that while he may not have the greenest thumb, he can still appreciate the work that goes into creating a successful crop. The episode closes with Tadayasu looking forward to the future and all the exciting possibilities it holds.
