In the second episode of Mountain Monsters season 2 titled "Grafton Monster of Taylor County", the team of skilled hunters and trappers known as the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS) visit a small town in West Virginia called Grafton. The town is the site of several reported sightings of a terrifying creature that locals have dubbed the Grafton Monster.
The team, led by team leader Trapper, meets with witnesses who claim to have seen the monster and gather information about its supposed habits and appearance. They learn that the Grafton Monster has been spotted in various locations around the town, including near a picnic area and a railroad crossing.
The hunters set traps and cameras in the areas where the monster has been most frequently sighted. They also conduct a night investigation in the woods, where they hear strange sounds and witness unexplainable events. Despite these creepy occurrences, they do not encounter the monster.
As the days pass, the team becomes increasingly frustrated with the lack of evidence and begins to doubt the existence of the Grafton Monster. However, they receive a tip from a resident who claims to have seen the creature in his backyard.
The hunters rush to the man's property and set up a trap, hoping to finally capture the elusive monster. However, their plans are thwarted when a huge thunderstorm hits the area and destroys their equipment.
The episode ends with the hunters regrouping and deciding to explore a nearby cave where they suspect the monster might be hiding. will the AIMS team finally have an encounter with the Grafton Monster? Tune in to find out in the next episode of Mountain Monsters.
