Ep 8. 2023 Cadillac Escalade V & 2023 Audi RS3

MotorWeek is back with yet another jam-packed episode in season 42, episode 8! This week, we're getting up close and personal with the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V and the highly anticipated 2023 Audi RS3.

First up, the Escalade V. We already know that the Escalade is a luxury SUV staple, but the V version takes it to a whole new level. Under the hood, we've got a hand-built 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers an impressive 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. That's enough to take this massive vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds - a truly impressive feat for an SUV.

The exterior of the Escalade V is just as imposing as its performance. A unique front fascia with a blacked-out grille and larger air intakes gives it a more aggressive look, and the 22-inch wheels and quad exhaust tips complete the package. Inside, you'll find plenty of luxury touches, including massaging seats, a 36-speaker AKG Studio sound system, and a 38-inch curved display for the driver.

Next, we've got the 2023 Audi RS3. If you're a fan of high-performance compact cars, this one is going to be right up your alley. Under the hood, we've got a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine that delivers 401 horsepower - not quite as much as the Escalade V, but still impressive for a car of this size. Thanks to Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system, the RS3 can hit 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

The exterior of the RS3 is classic Audi - sleek, sporty, and elegant. The front grille has been tweaked for this model, with a wider and flatter design, and the headlights now feature Matrix LED technology. Inside, the RS3 is all about the driver. The sports seats are designed to keep you firmly in place during hard cornering, and the infotainment and instrument cluster screens are both fully digital.
