Throughout the episode, the women learn about the history of the witch army and their role in protecting the country. They are trained in combat magic and must learn to work together as a team. We see them struggle, but also begin to bond and form a close relationship.

"Motherland: Fort Salem" season 1 episode 1 sets the stage for an exciting and unique series.
