In season 5 episode 11 of Most Haunted, the team travels to Pleasley Vale Mills, an abandoned textile factory in Nottinghamshire, England. The mill was built in 1860 and was a hub of industrial activity for over a century before closing its doors in 1980. Local residents have reported numerous paranormal occurrences on the property, such as unexplained noises and ghostly apparitions.
As the team sets up their equipment in the mill's empty rooms and dark corridors, they begin to feel an eerie presence lurking in the shadows. Yvette Fielding, the show's host, leads the team on a tour of the mill, pointing out the various areas of the building where visitors have reported seeing ghosts.
One of the most active areas of the mill is the boiler room, where workers used to stoke the fires that powered the mill's machines. The team sets up their cameras and begins to hear strange noises coming from the dark corners of the room. They capture several unexplained orbs of light on camera, and members of the team report feeling an icy chill in the air.
Another area that the team investigates is the weaving shed, where the mill's looms used to operate. The room is now empty, but the team members report feeling as though they are being watched by an unseen presence. They hear strange creaking noises and capture what appears to be the outline of a figure on camera.
In the old manager's office, the team sets up their Ouija board and attempts to make contact with any spirits that may be lingering on the property. They ask a series of questions, and to their surprise, the board begins to spell out coherent responses. The messages they receive lend credence to the theory that the mill is haunted by the ghosts of former workers who died on the job.
As the night wears on, the team experiences several more unexplained phenomena. They set up their equipment in the cotton warehouse, a large, open space where bales of raw cotton used to be stored. The team members report feeling as though they are not alone in the room, and they capture several more orbs of light on camera.
Perhaps the most unsettling experience of the night occurs when the team investigates the mill's underground tunnels. The tunnels run beneath the property and were used to transport materials and finished goods. As the team enters the tunnels, they hear strange whispering noises and feel as though they are being chased by something. A member of the team captures an EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) that seems to be the ghostly whisper of a former worker.
Overall, the team's investigation of Pleasley Vale Mills is one of their most chilling to date. The site is clearly rife with paranormal activity, and the team members report feeling as though they are constantly being watched by unseen entities. The episode is a must-see for fans of the show, as well as anyone with an interest in the supernatural.
