In Most Haunted season 4 episode 2, the team heads to Wales to investigate Craig-y-Nos Castle, a stunning Victorian castle located in the Brecon Beacons. The castle was initially built in the 1840s by a wealthy industrialist, but it later became a hospital for tuberculosis patients in the early 20th century. Since then, there have been numerous reports of ghostly activity in the castle.
The team begins their investigation in the grand entrance hall, where they immediately sense a heavy atmosphere. Yvette Fielding and the team feel a strange presence and hear unexplained noises, including footsteps and a rattling sound. They also detect a strong odor of medicine, which is believed to be associated with the castle's past as a hospital.
Moving to the castle's theater, the team sets up equipment to capture any paranormal activity. The theater has seen numerous sightings of a ghostly figure named The Grey Lady, believed to be the ghost of an opera singer who once performed at the castle. The team hears noises coming from the stage, and they capture a strange voice on their audio recorder.
Next, the team investigates the tower room, which is said to be one of the most haunted rooms in the castle. They sense a strong presence, and they feel as though someone is touching them. The room also has a strange echo, which causes the team's voices to sound distorted.
In the dungeon, the team experiences some of the most intense paranormal activity of the investigation. They sense a dark presence and hear strange noises, including a disembodied voice. The team captures numerous strange EVPs (electronic voice phenomena), including a voice saying "help me" and another voice saying "I'm trapped."
The investigation culminates in the castle's ballroom, where the team experiences some of the most compelling evidence of paranormal activity. They set up a trigger object - a ball - and they capture footage of the ball moving on its own. They also capture a strange voice on their audio recorder, saying "I will kill you all."
Overall, the team experiences intense paranormal activity throughout their investigation of Craig-y-Nos Castle. They capture numerous EVPs, experience unexplained noises and sensations, and capture compelling visual evidence. The investigation leaves the team convinced that the castle is haunted by numerous spirits.
