The investigation begins with team leader Yvette Fielding leading a group consisting of paranormal investigator Karl Beattie, historian Rick Fielding, and psychic medium Stuart Torevell. Their first stop is the grand Long Gallery, a striking space that stretches 160 feet and boasts an impressive collection of artwork and furnishings. Yvette wastes no time in setting up a variety of equipment, including a thermal imaging camera and a device that detects fluctuations in electromagnetic fields.

As the investigation progresses, the group experiences a series of unexplained phenomena, including strange noises and unexplained temperature drops. Stuart Torevell, in particular, seems to have a strong connection with the spirits present within the estate, communicating with them through a series of knocks and taps.

As the investigation comes to a close, both groups reconvene to discuss their findings. While no definitive evidence of paranormal activity is uncovered, the teams agree that the estate is undeniably home to a strong sense of otherworldly energy, and that their experiences within its walls have only left them more eager to continue their investigation.
