Ep 2. Meet Mift

Monsters at Work is an animated TV show on Disney+ that follows the daily lives of the monsters who work at Monsters, Inc., a company that generates energy by collecting the screams of human children. The show takes place six months after the events of the original Monsters, Inc. movie, after the factory has made the switch to harnessing children's laughter instead of screams.

Anderson, a tall and lanky one-eyed monster who speaks in a monotone voice; and Fritz, a red monster with horns who is covered in dust and always sneezing. They are all less than thrilled to have Tylor on their team, as they know he will likely only be there temporarily before he can transfer to the scare floor.

While Tylor is trying to fit in with his new colleagues, he discovers that there's a lot more to the Facilities Team than he initially thought. They are responsible for keeping Monsters, Inc. running smoothly, and their work is crucial to the success of the company. Tylor realizes that his job is not just about impressing Cutter; he needs to work with his new team to make sure everything stays up and running, or else the whole factory could shut down.

As Tylor gets to know the members of Mift, he starts to understand why they are so important to Monsters, Inc. Despite their lack of scare skills, they are all experts in their own way, from Val's knowledge of wiring to Duncan's ability to navigate the labyrinthine factory. Together, they form a formidable team that can handle any crisis that comes their way.

The episode is light-hearted and funny, with plenty of clever jokes and witty one-liners. The animation is top-notch, with vibrant colors and detailed character designs that bring the monsters to life. The plot is engaging and well-paced, with a good mix of action, humor, and heartwarming moments.
