Ep 7. Mayoi Jiangshi, Part 1

In the seventh episode of the first season of the Monogatari Series Second Season, we are introduced to a new character named Mayoi Hachikuji. Koyomi Araragi, a high school student who has had several supernatural experiences, encounters Mayoi on his way to school. They strike up a conversation and Koyomi soon learns that Mayoi is a ghost who has been wandering around town for several years.

As they continue their journey, Mayoi and Koyomi encounter a strange man who appears to be searching for something. When he notices that Mayoi is a ghost, he reveals that he is searching for a cursed object that has been causing havoc around town. Koyomi realizes that the cursed object could be the reason why Mayoi is lost and agrees to help the man find it.

Throughout the episode, we also get a glimpse into Koyomi's relationship with his sisters, Karen and Tsukihi. They are both worried about their brother's strange behavior and the dangerous situations he often finds himself in. Karen even goes as far as to ask Koyomi to promise that he will not get involved with any more supernatural incidents.

Overall, this episode sets the stage for a thrilling adventure as Koyomi and Mayoi navigate the dangers of the supernatural world in their search for Mayoi's home. The introduction of a new character adds a fresh dynamic to the series, and the focus on Koyomi's relationship with his sisters brings a touch of humor and heart to the episode.
