As the third part of the Tsubasa Tiger chapter, this episode continues the story of protagonist Koyomi Araragi's search for his friend Tsubasa Hanekawa, who has mysteriously disappeared without a trace. In the previous episodes, Koyomi learns that Tsubasa has been possessed by a supernatural entity known as a "darkness," which causes her to transform into a powerful yet uncontrollable tiger.

In this episode, Koyomi continues to unravel the truth behind Tsubasa's possession and tries to find a way to save her. He seeks the help of three powerful exorcists, including his own sister Karen, who use their knowledge and abilities to try and purge the darkness from Tsubasa's body.

Meanwhile, Tsubasa's past is revealed through a series of flashbacks, showing her traumatic childhood and troubled relationship with her parents. As the darkness within her continues to consume her, Tsubasa starts to lose control of her actions and begins to lash out against those who are trying to help her.

The episode also delves deeper into Koyomi's own struggles, as he confronts his feelings of guilt and responsibility for Tsubasa's possession. He begins to question whether he has been a good friend to her and whether he truly understands her struggles and pain.

As the episode reaches its climax, the exorcism ritual takes a dramatic turn, leading to a surprising revelation about the true nature of the darkness possessing Tsubasa. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating the next chapter of the Monogatari Series Second Season.
