Ep 13. Nadeko Medusa, Part 2

The Monogatari Series Second Season season 1 episode 13, titled "Nadeko Medusa, Part 2," continues the story of Nadeko Sengoku, a shy and timid girl who is cursed by a powerful serpent god. Eventually, Koyomi and the others realize that the key to defeating the snake god is to understand Nadeko's true feelings. They learn that Nadeko has been keeping a dark secret: she has been in love with Koyomi for years, but has never been able to express her feelings. This unrequited love has caused her to harbor intense resentment toward Koyomi and others who she feels have "betrayed" her.

With this knowledge in hand, Koyomi and the others confront Nadeko once again. Koyomi manages to convince Nadeko to open up to him about her feelings, and he listens patiently as she pours out her heart. As Nadeko's emotions are released, the snake curse begins to dissipate, and she returns to her normal self.

The episode ends with Nadeko thanking Koyomi and the others for their help, and promising to never again use her new-found powers for evil. However, it is clear that there are still many mysteries in Nadeko's past that have yet to be revealed, and the group is left to wonder if they have truly seen the last of the cursed girl.
