Ep 10. Mayoi Jiangshi, Part 4

Araragi is still on the lookout for Mayoi, and he's growing increasingly desperate. He's even gone so far as to try and get the police involved, but they're not particularly interested in helping him look for a little girl who's supposed to be dead. It seems like all hope is lost, until he runs into Yotsugi. She's a strange girl with an affinity for creepy dolls, and she claims to have the ability to see things that don't belong in this world.

With a little bit of convincing, Yotsugi agrees to help Araragi find Mayoi. Together, they track her down to an abandoned building, where they find her being held captive by a powerful vampire. The vampire is none other than Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, the same vampire who turned Araragi into a half-vampire in the first place.

Kiss-Shot is using Mayoi as bait to try and lure Araragi into a trap. She's still angry at him for cutting off her limbs and nearly killing her, and she wants revenge. Araragi knows that he's outmatched, but he's not willing to let Mayoi die. He comes up with a daring plan to distract Kiss-Shot and free Mayoi, but it's not without its risks.

As Araragi and Yotsugi put their plan into action, they're forced to confront the reality of their situation. Araragi is still struggling with the fact that he's a vampire, and he's not sure if he's ready to accept the consequences of that. Yotsugi, meanwhile, is dealing with her own issues of identity and existence.

Despite their doubts and fears, the two manage to pull off their plan and rescue Mayoi. However, their victory is short-lived. Kiss-Shot isn't willing to let them get away so easily, and she's already planning her next move. Araragi and Yotsugi will have to stay one step ahead of her if they want to survive.

As the episode comes to a close, Araragi reflects on his experiences and the lessons he's learned. He's come to realize that the world is a complex and dangerous place, and he can't always rely on others to save him. If he wants to protect the people he cares about, he'll need to become stronger and more self-sufficient. With that in mind, he vows to continue fighting, no matter what challenges may lie ahead.
