To rob the Royal Mint of Spain, a group of eight robbers with distinctive codenames, led by a mysterious man named The Professor, has been assembled. In the second episode of the first season, the robbers begin their meticulously planned heist by gaining access to the Mint and taking hostages, including the Mint's director, Arturo Roman.

The Professor had predicted that the police response time would be twelve minutes, and sure enough, the police arrive on the scene. The robbers had prepared for this, however, and had a trick up their sleeve – they had set up a fake ambulance outside the Mint, complete with a fake heart attack patient. When the police were forced to let the ambulance through the barricade, the robbers used the opportunity to throw the hostages out of the Mint in disguise and flee the scene.

Once the robbers are safely away, The Professor begins to assert his control over the hostages. He explains to them the rules of the heist – they are to refer to each other by code names, they are to obey the robbers' commands, and they are to keep their hands in plain sight at all times. The hostages are intimidated but also become curious about the robbers' plan.

Meanwhile, inside the Mint, tensions start to rise among the robbers. Tokyo, who is somewhat of a hot-head, begins to lose her cool and argues with Berlin, the leader of the robbers. On the other hand, Nairobi, who is responsible for controlling the hostages, begins to bond with some of them and even enters into a flirtation with one.

As the day progresses, the robbers continue their heist, working methodically to print millions of euros while keeping a low profile. The police outside the Mint, meanwhile, are starting to feel the frustration of their situation, as they are unable to make contact with anyone inside the building and are unsure of what is happening.

As night falls, the robbers begin to relax somewhat, realizing that they have successfully evaded the police and have enough supplies to last for weeks inside the Mint. The Professor, however, remains vigilant, constantly monitoring the situation and reminding the robbers that their plan is far from over.

The second episode of Money Heist is a tense and thrilling continuation of the heist story, showcasing the planning, execution, and aftermath of the crime. Viewers will be drawn in by the complex characters and the high stakes of the situation, as well as the intricate details of the heist itself. With each episode, the tension will continue to build as the robbers navigate their way through numerous challenges and obstacles, forcing viewers to keep rooting for their success.
