Bonnie is handling her new job as a landlord and is in the middle of preparing the apartment which she has rented out to two young women who have just moved to the city. Although her intentions may be good, things do not go according to her plan, and she soon finds herself at a loss. Meanwhile, Christy is dealing with her relationship with her boyfriend, Patrick. They had a brief separation but eventually got back together, only to discover that their relationship may not be as perfect as they thought. Desperate to get things back on track, Christy turns to her mom and asks for guidance, but Bonnie is busy dealing with her own problems.

In the meantime, Tammy, one of the women renting Bonnie's apartment, is struggling with her sobriety. She has been trying to stay sober for years, and it has been a difficult journey for her. But with Bonnie's support and encouragement, Tammy manages to stay on the wagon, at least for a while. However, when her roommate offers her a drink, Tammy finds herself struggling to resist the temptation. Her roommate, Marjorie, is supportive and tries to keep Tammy on track but it is clear that staying sober is going to be an ongoing struggle for Tammy.

Throughout the episode, there are major themes of fatherhood, relationships, and addiction. Bonnie reflects on her experience as a mother and how it has impacted her ability to connect with men on a deeper level. Similarly, Christy struggles with the idea of her boyfriend possibly being a father in the future and how that would affect their relationship. Both women are also dealing with issues related to addiction. Bonnie is a recovering alcoholic and Christy is a recovering addict, so the theme of addiction is a recurring one throughout the show.

One of the major plot points of this episode is the development of the relationship between Tammy and Marjorie. The two women have very different personalities, but they are able to find a way to connect and support each other despite their differences. It is clear that Tammy is struggling with her addiction and that Marjorie is a pillar of support for her. At the same time, Marjorie is dealing with her own issues related to her husband's health, but she still manages to be there for Tammy.

Another interesting part of this episode is the introduction of a new character: Bonnie's tenant, Patty. Patty is a young woman who is fresh out of rehab, and Bonnie feels a sense of responsibility towards her. As a result, she tries to offer her support and guidance but ends up getting more than she bargained for when Patty starts causing trouble in the building. It is a reminder that even with good intentions, sometimes things do not go according to plan.

Overall, the sixth season of Mom continues to explore the complicated relationships between women and how they navigate through life's challenges. The show is full of heart and humor, and manages to balance serious themes with moments of levity. This particular episode tackled issues related to addiction, fatherhood, and relationships, all of which are relatable and relevant to modern audiences. It is a testament to the strength of the writing and the talent of the actors that Mom continues to be a fan favorite and a critically acclaimed series.
