Christy is a recovering alcoholic and single mother who is doing her best to turn her life around. Along with her own struggles with addiction, she also has to navigate the challenges of raising her teenage daughter, Violet. Christy has made progress in her personal and professional life by attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and working as a waitress, but there are still obstacles she must face.
