Momoko Shinohara (Hiromi Nagasaku), a 50-year-old single, workaholic TV reporter, realizes that her life has passed her by. Through a marriage agency, she meets a man named Yoji Suzuki (Yusuke Santamaria). Although Momoko wonders why his face looks so different from his profile picture, the two share a drink and talk about the transient nature of life. Momoko soon invites Yoji to her home and asks him to repair a broken shelf. Yoji even remodels the interior of the house in addition to the repair work. Momoko's work is as busy as ever, but they enjoy their days together, taking camping trips to the mountains and so on.
