Ep 22. Clash of Swords

The episode also sees the return of Gloria Pritchett's ex-husband, Javier, played by Benjamin Bratt. Javier is in town to check up on his son Manny, who he thinks is in need of some guidance. Although Gloria is skeptical of Javier's motives, she agrees to let him spend some time with Manny, who is also struggling with the pressures of growing up. The scenes between Javier and Manny are both funny and touching, as Javier tries to impart some wisdom to his son while also acknowledging that Manny is more mature than he gives him credit for.

As always, the show's writers excel at blending humor with heart, creating an episode that is both funny and meaningful.
