It's time for another installment of Modern Family, and this time the episode is titled "Strangers in the Night." Season 6, Episode 9 of the hit sitcom finds our favorite characters dealing with a variety of situations, both comedic and dramatic.
First up, we have Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofía Vergara), who are experiencing some tension in their marriage. Jay is feeling neglected by Gloria, who is putting all of her energy into her new business venture. Meanwhile, Gloria is frustrated by Jay's lack of support for her new project.
Next, we have Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), who are dealing with the aftermath of their disastrous dinner party. Cam is eager to make things right with their neighbors, but Mitch is less than enthusiastic about the idea.
Meanwhile, Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) are grappling with their own issues. Phil is feeling like he's losing touch with his kids, while Claire is worried about her job and whether or not she's going to get fired.
As if all of that wasn't enough, the Dunphy kids are also dealing with their fair share of drama. Haley (Sarah Hyland) is struggling to break up with her boyfriend, while Alex (Ariel Winter) is trying to keep a secret from her parents.
Throughout the episode, these various storylines intersect and collide in unexpected ways, resulting in plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments. Will Jay and Gloria be able to work through their marital troubles? Can Cam and Mitch salvage their relationship with their neighbors? And will Phil and Claire find a way to connect with their kids?
