Ep 16. Spring-A-Ding-Fling

It is Spring Break and the Dunphys are getting ready for a fun-filled week at a lake house. However, Phil is disappointed when his friend, who owns the lake house, decides to rent it out instead. This prompts the Dunphys to search for a new vacation spot and they end up booking a house that is not exactly what they expected.

Jay and Gloria, on the other hand, are planning a big Spring Fling party for their neighbors and friends. They hire a popular Latin band to perform and invite everyone they know. However, when the band cancels last minute, they scramble to find a replacement.

Meanwhile, Cam and Mitchell have a parenting dilemma when they discover that Lily has been using foul language. They try to figure out a way to discipline her without coming across as too strict or too lenient.

Throughout the episode, the different storylines intertwine and provide laughs and heartwarming moments. Phil and Claire's attempts to have the perfect spring break go awry, but they ultimately make the best of the situation and bond as a family. Jay and Gloria's party planning stresses them out, but they come together to celebrate with their loved ones. And Cam and Mitchell's parenting struggles lead to a touching moment between the couple and their daughter.
