Ep 6. Yard Sale

As the modern family continues their daily lives, they discover that their closets, garages, and storage areas are packed with things that they no longer need. As a result, they decide to host a yard sale in hopes of cleaning out and making some extra money to put towards a family vacation.

While setting up for the sale, Phil tries to convince Jay to buy an old motorcycle that he's had for years but never ridden, but Jay says he's past the age of trying to prove himself. Meanwhile, Gloria struggles to let go of a precious family heirloom, but ultimately decides that selling it will provide more benefit to her family.

As the yard sale commences, the different family members begin to experience their own trials and tribulations. Cameron and Mitchell hope to sell off some of Lily's old clothes but get into a competition to see which of them can sell the most. Claire and Alex find themselves stressed out by bargain hunters and having to deal with Craig, a pushy neighbor who won't leave them alone. Haley and Luke try to make quick cash by creating a magic show that doesn't go quite as planned.

In the midst of the chaos, Phil and Manny work together to sell the motorcycle, but a wrench is thrown in their plans when a sketchy buyer shows up. Meanwhile, Gloria's prized possession ends up causing drama when a family secret is revealed after someone expresses interest in buying it.
