Ep 5. Father and Son

As the war between the Titans and the AEUG intensifies, Kamille is still struggling to control his emotions and his Newtype abilities. In Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam season 1 episode 5, titled "Father and Son," Kamille's father, Franklin, appears on the scene, requesting that Kamille return home with him. Kamille is hesitant at first but ultimately decides to leave the AEUG to reconcile with his father.

Meanwhile, Titans pilot Jerid Messa is still hunting down the AEUG's powerful new mobile suit, the Gundam Mk-II. He manages to track down Kamille's ship and engages him in battle. Despite Kamille's best efforts, he is no match for Jerid's superior pilot skills and is forced to retreat.

As the episode comes to a close, Kamille is left with the difficult decision of whether to stay with his father and try to convince him to stop working with the Titans, or return to the AEUG and fight against his father's dangerous employers.
