Ep 20. Hand To Hand Combat

The 20th episode of the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam is entitled "Hand To Hand Combat" and it opens with Amuro Ray experiencing a nightmare in which he sees his father and relives the events of his death. With the Trojan Horse now under escort, the White Base and its fleet are on the way to rendezvous with the Federation in Earth orbit. However, they soon encounter a Zeon patrol led by none other than Ramba Ral, who is still seeking revenge against the White Base crew. The two sides engage in a fierce battle, with the Trojan Horse making use of its experimental weapon to take down several Zeon units.

Meanwhile, Amuro is still haunted by his father's death and feels guilty for failing to save him. Frustrated and emotional, he decides to prove his worth by participating in the battle against Zeon's forces. Using his combat skills and the Gundam, Amuro successfully fights off the Zeon soldiers and destroys several enemy units.

As the two sides withdraw, Char Aznable observes the battle and realizes that Amuro is more than just a novice pilot. He vows to defeat the Gundam and Amuro, setting the stage for their ongoing rivalry.
