- July 23, 2010
In Mitsudomoe season 1 episode 3, titled "So Many Sinners," the Marui triplets continue to wreak havoc on their school and family as they navigate their way through adolescence. The episode begins with the triplets on their way to school when they realize they forgot their homework. In an attempt to avoid punishment from their teacher, they forge a note from their mother claiming she was sick and unable to help them with their assignment.
At school, the triplets' antics continue as they participate in a beauty pageant. Mitsuba, the oldest triplet, decides to enter the pageant and causes chaos when she refuses to follow the rules and instead makes up her own. Meanwhile, her sisters Futaba and Hitoha cause trouble in their own classes, with Futaba having trouble staying awake and Hitoha getting into an argument with her teacher over a philosophical question.
As the day goes on, the triplets continue their misadventures, causing trouble for their classmates and teachers alike. Mitsuba, still upset about losing the beauty pageant, decides to get her revenge on the winner and steals her tiara. She later gets caught, however, and has to face the consequences of her actions.
Throughout the episode, the triplets display their unique personalities and the challenges they face growing up. Mitsuba is shown to be stubborn and determined, always wanting to have her own way. Futaba is portrayed as lazy and unmotivated, constantly falling asleep in class. Hitoha is written as introspective and wise beyond her years, often posing deep philosophical questions to her teachers.
While the triplets cause chaos and trouble, they also exhibit their love and loyalty towards each other. When Mitsuba gets caught stealing the tiara, her sisters come to her defense and help her admit to her wrongdoing. Similarly, when Futaba is struggling to stay awake in class, her sisters help her by keeping her alert.
Overall, "So Many Sinners" showcases the unique personalities of the Marui triplets as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence. The episode is filled with humor and chaos, but also highlights the importance of family and support.
