The episode starts with Savi waking up the morning after her one-night stand with Dominic. She tries to sneak out of his apartment without waking him up, but she's caught when he wakes up and gives her coffee. Savi tries to play it off as just a one-time thing, but Dominic seems more interested in starting a relationship with her. Savi seems conflicted and unsure about what she wants.
Meanwhile, Karen is dealing with the aftermath of her affair with a married man who turned out to be her patient's husband. She's trying to keep it a secret, but her patient's husband keeps showing up at her office wanting to talk to her. Karen is clearly uncomfortable with the situation but is also wrestling with feelings of guilt and regret.
April is still reeling from the sudden death of her husband and is struggling to keep herself together. Her friend and fellow widow, Alyssa, reaches out to her and offers her a support group for people who've lost their spouses. At first, April is resistant but eventually agrees to go with her. While there, she meets a man named Richard who's also lost his spouse. April sees a kindred spirit in him and the two bond over their shared grief.
Finally, Joss is still trying to navigate her relationship with her boss, Olivier. She's feeling conflicted because on the one hand, she's clearly smitten with him, but on the other, she feels like he's only using her for sex. When Olivier asks her to come to Paris with him for a work trip, Joss sees it as a chance to take their relationship to the next level. However, when she tells him she loves him and he reacts poorly, she realizes that he's not as invested in the relationship as she is.
Throughout the episode, all four women are dealing with the fallout from their choices and trying to figure out what they want out of life and relationships.
