Just when he's about to give up, he receives an unexpected ally in the form of Kagami, a skilled fencer who is also a close friend of Adrien, Cat Noir's alter-ego.
Kagami joins Cat Noir in the fight, and together, they manage to defeat the villains and reach Ladybug's location. They find Ladybug trapped under a pile of rubble but quickly free her and start fighting Ikari Gozen. However, their combined efforts prove to be ineffective against the powerful villain.
Just when things seem to be getting out of hand, Ladybug comes up with a plan. She convinces Kagami to use her fencing skills to disarm Ikari Gozen by breaking her sword. Kagami agrees, and using her quick reflexes, she manages to break the sword and thus weaken Ikari Gozen's powers. Ladybug and Cat Noir take advantage of the situation and defeat Ikari Gozen once and for all.
In the end, the trio returns to their normal identities, and Marinette finally finishes her designs for the fashion contest. The episode concludes with Ladybug and Cat Noir thanking Kagami for her help and promising to work together again in the future if the need arises.
