Mike is not one to give up easily and he immediately starts to search for a way out. As he's exploring the basement, he comes across a suspicious looking box. Upon further investigation, he realizes that it's full of explosives and that the raccoons have been planning something big.

Mike knows that he has to act fast to prevent any harm from coming to his family. He tries to warn them by barking loudly but they don't seem to understand what he's saying. Mike then decides to take matters into his own hands and devises a plan to deactivate the bomb.

The rest of the episode shows Mike running around the basement, frantically trying to disarm the bomb. He manages to disable several of the wires but is having trouble with the last one. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Mike gets a stroke of luck and manages to cut the wire just in time.

The bomb is deactivated and Mike is hailed as a hero by his family. They have no idea about the role that the raccoons played in the whole ordeal and Mike decides to keep it that way. As the episode comes to a close, we see Mike relaxing in the backyard, enjoying a well-deserved rest.
