Ep 5. The Sleeper Under the Hill

In the Midsomer village of Midsomer Mow, a group of archaeologists are excavating a burial mound in search of Saxon treasure. However, things take a deadly turn when one of the team members is found murdered in the ancient burial site. Detectives Tom Barnaby and Ben Jones are called in to investigate and soon discover that the archaeologists are not the only ones interested in the treasure.

As the investigation progresses, a series of cryptic clues suggest that the treasure may have a deeper, darker significance than anyone had anticipated.
