Ep 1. Death in the Slow Lane

When elderly driver Richard Tanner inexplicably loses control of his vintage sports car and dies, Barnaby and Jones discover a world of infidelity and financial misdealings. However, while Richard’s wife Anne does not seem to be upset by his death, his friends at the racing club where he was a prominent member, including Patrick Morgan, seem to be taking his death extremely personally. Meanwhile, as Barnaby and Jones investigate the murder, they also become embroiled in a seemingly unrelated case involving the theft of a prized Ferrari. With the help of a retired racer and a classic car enthusiast, the detectives uncover a tangled web of deceit and betrayal.
