In Middlemost Post season 1 episode 7 titled "I Named It Whiskers," we see the main trio of Parker, Angus, and Russell trying to deliver a mail to a peculiar customer who has been causing trouble for the post office. They end up in the midst of a cat-related mystery and must solve it before the package can be delivered.
The episode begins with the employees of Middlemost Post receiving a mail for a customer who is famously difficult to deal with. As they gear up to deliver the package, they come across a neighborhood where all cats seem to have gone missing. The trio enters a house to deliver the package and finds themselves surrounded by several cats, one of which is particularly strong. Russell tries to take on the cat, but it's too powerful for him, and Angus ends up accidentally spraying purple paint all over it.
As the trio tries to make amends to the cat, they end up discovering a box full of whiskers that could possibly belong to the missing cats. The entire crew of Middlemost Post gets involved in solving the mystery of the missing cats alongside the owner of the house they visited. They follow the trail of the missing cats to a laboratory where they discover that the cats might have been used for an experimental beauty treatment.
Things take a turn for the worse when the cat that they had accidentally sprayed with the purple paint turns out to be the leader of the missing cats. A mad chase ensues, and the trio ends up saving the cats from the lab. They drop the cats off at the home of the neighborhood we saw earlier, and Parker even accepts a kitten as a reward for their effort.
As always, the episode has a heartwarming ending with the trio delivering the mail to the customer and finding out that it contained a key to a storage room with a surprise inside. The episode is a fun watch, with lots of humor and a mild mystery subplot that keeps the audience hooked to the very end.
