In Middlemost Post season 1 episode 14, titled "Premium Parker/Toast of the Town," "Parker" (voiced by John DiMaggio) acts sketchy as he requests expensive deliveries that are slightly off-the-books. With questions surrounding Parker's actions, "Parker" must come clean about why he needs these expensive items. As a result, Angus, Pip, and their new friend Morris get wind of a party taking place across the street from the post office. The trio then decides to get a little mischievous and attend the party.
Throughout the episode, the group balances their excitement for the party with their obligation to deliver the mail. Staging a scene that left them seemingly unable to deliver the mail, the group gets away with partying for a short period. However, as time ticks away, it looks like they might miss some critical deliveries before the day ends. To rectify the situation, the group sets up an assembly line to complete the final deliveries as they groove to the rhythm of a catchy tune.
Meanwhile, "Toast of the Town" focuses on the character of Mayor Peeve, who is suddenly in a tricky spot after realizing he can't make toast. With Mayor Peeve blaming himself for a "toastless" presidency, Angus steps in to save the day and help the Mayor. Angus approaches the problem with his typically upbeat personality, eventually finding a solution that satisfies Mayor Peeve's toast fix. A toast-centric event then becomes the backdrop of reconciliation between Angus and Mayor Peeve, who bonded over their love of hot, buttery toast.
Ultimately, the episode ends with a touching moment for all involved as the characters experience growth in their respective arcs. Middlemost Post has delivered a balanced episode that successfully intertwines multiple storylines in a heartwarming and humorous manner.
