Ep 13. Potatoland

In the thirteenth episode of the first season of Mickey Mouse, titled Potatoland, Mickey Mouse and his best friend, Goofy, embark on a wacky and adventurous journey to find the elusive theme park, Potatoland. The episode starts with Mickey and Goofy sitting in a diner, where they overhear a couple of farmers talking about Potatoland, a theme park dedicated to potatoes. The farmers explain that the park is so popular that people come from all over the world to visit and it's one place that Mickey has always wanted to visit. The farmers, however, warn them that it's a difficult place to find, with no clear directions or markings on the map.

Despite the warnings, Mickey and Goofy are determined to find the park and set off on their journey. The duo jumps into Mickey's jalopy and starts their journey, only to realize that they have no idea where they're going. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles, including a suspicious gas station attendant who tries to sell them a phony treasure map and an endless field of potatoes that seems to go on forever.

After a few misadventures, Mickey and Goofy finally arrive at the entrance to Potatoland, filled with excitement and anticipation. However, their excitement is short-lived when they realize that they are the only visitors in the park, which is rundown and abandoned. The park is in a sorry state, with the attractions in ruins, the rides broken down, and the few remaining potatoes rotting away. The two friends begin to feel sad and disappointed when they realize that the park is in such a terrible state.

However, their mood brightens when they discover a group of potato monsters who have taken up residence in the park. The monsters are hilarious and quirky, and Mickey and Goofy are delighted to make friends with them. The potato monsters are so happy to see the visitors that they start performing dance numbers and singing songs. The two friends join in the fun and start dancing with the monsters.

After a while, Goofy notices that the potato monsters are in danger of running out of food, as there are no potatoes left in the park. Mickey and Goofy, determined to help their new friends, set out to find more potatoes to feed the creatures. Their search takes them deep into the nearby town, where they come across a potato farm owned by the same farmers who gave them directions earlier.

The farmers are initially hesitant to let them take their potatoes, but Mickey and Goofy manage to convince them of their good intentions and take a truckload of potatoes back to the park. They are delighted to see the potato monsters happy and fed, and the park has regained some of its lost charm. The two friends bid goodbye to the monsters and leave the park, knowing that they have made a difference.

In the end, Potatoland might not have been everything Mickey and Goofy hoped for, but it turned out to be an unforgettable adventure full of new friends and silly antics. The episode ends with Mickey and Goofy driving off into the sunset, content in the knowledge that they have accomplished something good.
