Mickey and the Roadster Racers season 2 episode 3 is titled "Mouse vs. Machine/Grandpa Beagle's Day Out". In the first half of the episode, Mickey and his friends compete against a state-of-the-art machine in a race to see who can collect the most acorns. Meanwhile, in the second half of the episode, Grandpa Beagle takes the roadster for a spin and accidentally topples a series of dominoes, causing chaos throughout Hot Dog Hills.
As the episode begins, Mickey and his friends are thrilled to receive an invitation to compete in a racing challenge against a new high-tech machine called the Acorn Terminator. The race will take place in a nearby forest, and the goal is to collect as many acorns as possible in a set amount of time. Mickey and the gang are confident in their racing abilities, but they quickly realize that the Acorn Terminator is a formidable opponent.
The Acorn Terminator is equipped with the latest technology, including sensors that allow it to detect acorns from a distance. It also has a powerful vacuum system that can suck up acorns faster than any mouse could. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are determined to win the race, however, and they come up with a variety of creative strategies to outsmart the Acorn Terminator. They use everything from a slingshot to a makeshift catapult to gather as many acorns as possible.
Despite their best efforts, the Acorn Terminator continues to outpace the team. In a last-ditch effort, the gang decides to work together and pool their acorns in a joint effort to win the competition. This strategy proves successful, and the team narrowly beats the Acorn Terminator by just a few acorns.
In the second half of the episode, Grandpa Beagle takes the roadster out for a joyride. While he's out driving, he accidentally hits a soccer ball, causing it to knock over a stack of dominoes. The domino effect causes a series of mishaps throughout Hot Dog Hills, and Grandpa Beagle has to quickly figure out how to fix everything before it's too late.
Grandpa Beagle races through the town, trying to put everything back in its proper place. Along the way, he runs into his old friends, the Beagle Boys, who try to steal the roadster. Grandpa Beagle outsmarts them, however, and manages to get the car back just in time to restore order to the chaos he unwittingly started.
In the end, Mickey and the Roadster Racers learn two valuable lessons. First, they discover that working as a team is always better than trying to outdo each other. Second, they realize that even the most advanced technology can't be relied on in all situations. Sometimes, it's good old-fashioned ingenuity and hard work that win the day.
