Metal Evolution is a documentary series on VH1 Classic that explores the history and evolution of heavy metal music. The third episode, "Early Metal Part 2: UK Division," examines the impact of British bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Motörhead on the metal scene. The episode features interviews with Bruce Dickinson, Lemmy, and former Iron Maiden members Paul Di'Anno and Dennis Stratton.

Subsequent episodes delve into subgenres such as glam metal, thrash metal, and nu metal. Some of the notable interviewees include Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Scott Ian of Anthrax, and Randy Blythe of Lamb of God.
