Ep 9. God Is Greater

In Messiah season 1 episode 9 titled "God Is Greater," tensions continue to rise in the Middle East as both the Israelis and the Palestinians prepare for the arrival of Al-Masih. While the Israelis see Al-Masih as a threat to their nation's security, the Palestinians view him as a savior who will end their suffering.

As Al-Masih and his followers make their way towards Israel, they encounter a group of refugees who have been stranded in the desert. Al-Masih offers them water and food, and his kindness causes many to believe that he truly is the Messiah. However, his actions also draw the attention of the Israeli military, who see this as a possible diversion tactic.

Meanwhile, Eva discovers that the Iranian agent who has been tailing her is actually a traitor working for a rival agency. With her cover blown, Eva must team up with Aviram to stay alive and protect her family. As they race against time to figure out who is behind the betrayal, they realize that Al-Masih may be the key to uncovering the truth.

Back in Texas, Jibril continues to struggle with his faith and identity. His brother Samer tries to convince him to return to their old way of life, but Jibril is torn between his loyalty to his family and his new-found belief in Al-Masih. As he prays for guidance, he receives a surprising visitation that leaves him with more questions than answers.

As the episode comes to a close, Al-Masih arrives at the Israeli border and is met with a barrage of gunfire. Will he make it out alive? And if he does, what will he do next? "God Is Greater" sets the stage for a thrilling season finale that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
