In Messiah season 1 episode 3, entitled "The Finger of God," tensions continue to rise as Al-Masih's following grows larger. In the opening scene, we see a chaotic protest outside the White House, where Al-Masih is reportedly planning to make an appearance. As the crowd gets more agitated, Secret Service agents try to maintain order, but it quickly becomes clear that they are not prepared for what's about to happen.

Meanwhile, CIA officer Eva Geller is on a mission to uncover Al-Masih's true identity and motives. She visits the small town of Dilley, Texas, where Al-Masih was supposedly born and raised. But when she arrives, she finds a community that is fiercely protective of their own, and reluctant to share information with an outsider. Eva's frustration grows as she hits one dead end after another, and she begins to wonder if Al-Masih's story is just an elaborate hoax.

Back in Washington D.C., Al-Masih's message continues to resonate with the public. After his unexpected appearance at the protest, thousands of people gather on the National Mall to hear him speak. In his usual enigmatic style, Al-Masih delivers a message that seems to be aimed directly at the government and military leaders who are watching from a nearby command center.

As the episode unfolds, we see more hints of Al-Masih's mysterious powers. A woman who has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease is miraculously healed after meeting him, leading many people to believe that he truly is a messenger from God. But others are more skeptical, including a group of evangelical pastors who band together to denounce Al-Masih as a false prophet.

At the same time, a subplot involving a young Palestinian boy named Jibril begins to take shape. Jibril is introduced as a poor shepherd who lives in a war-torn region of Syria, but he soon finds himself caught up in a plot involving a powerful and dangerous group of militants. Jibril's story is clearly meant to mirror Al-Masih's in some way, although it's not clear exactly how the two are connected.

Overall, "The Finger of God" is a tense and suspenseful episode that keeps viewers guessing about the true nature of Al-Masih's identity and intentions. With so many different plot threads in play, it's unclear where the show will go next, but one thing is certain - the world is changing quickly, and Al-Masih is at the center of it all.
