Ep 11. The Hunter's Heart

Arthur and his knights are out on a hunting trip, and Gwen accompanies them, as she is worried about the safety of the king. Merlin and Gaius stay behind at Camelot to attend to some work. During the trip, Gwen meets a local huntress named Lamia who is stunningly beautiful and skilled at archery. Gwen is immediately drawn to her and the two develop a fast friendship. However, it becomes clear that Lamia is not what she seems. She has put a spell on Gwen and is using her to get to Arthur.

Meanwhile, Merlin becomes suspicious of Lamia and tries to warn Arthur, but the king is too smitten with her to listen. Merlin realizes that Lamia is a type of enchantress known as a Lamia, and she is feeding off of Gwen's emotions to gain her powers. Merlin knows he must break the spell before it's too late and he enlists the help of Gaius and Lancelot. Together, they work to uncover the truth about Lamia and how to defeat her.

As they delve deeper into Lamia's background, they discover that she is seeking revenge on Arthur and his knights for killing her family in a battle. She has been using her powers to lure them into a trap and exact her revenge. Merlin, Gaius, and Lancelot race against time to save Gwen and stop Lamia before she can bring harm to Arthur and the kingdom.

In the end, Merlin is able to break the spell on Gwen, but not before she is put in dangerous situations. Arthur and the knights come face to face with Lamia and a fierce battle ensues. In the end, Arthur is able to defeat her with the help of his loyal knights and Merlin's magic.

The episode ends with Gwen realizing the danger she put herself and the others in by trusting Lamia. She is grateful to be alive and thanks Merlin for his quick thinking and bravery in saving her life. Arthur is also grateful to Merlin for uncovering the truth and saving his life.
