Ep 1. The Tears of Uther Pendragon

The Tears of Uther Pendragon is the first episode of season 3 of the popular TV show Merlin. In this episode, we see the aftermath of the season 2 finale, where Morgana had fled Camelot after discovering her magical powers and becoming disillusioned with Uther. The opening scene shows Morgana being pursued by knights of Camelot, who are trying to capture her. However, she uses her magical powers to escape them and disappears into the night.

Meanwhile, Arthur is struggling with his own demons. He is conflicted about his feelings for Morgana and is trying to find a way to reconcile his love for her with his loyalty to his father. He is also dealing with the pressures of being the next king of Camelot, and is trying to prove himself to his father and the knights of Camelot.

As Merlin sets out to find Morgana, he is faced with a number of challenges. He must navigate the dangerous forests of Camelot, avoid the knights who are hunting Morgana, and overcome his own doubts and fears. Along the way, he encounters a mysterious druid who offers him guidance and support.

Eventually, Merlin finds Morgana and convinces her to return to Camelot. However, his journey has not been in vain, as he has discovered a powerful artifact known as the Tears of Uther Pendragon. This artifact is said to have the power to bring the dead back to life, and Merlin realizes that it could be used to save Morgana's life if she were to ever be fatally wounded.

Upon returning to Camelot, Merlin is hailed as a hero for bringing back Morgana. However, his joy is short-lived when he discovers that Uther has banished magic from the kingdom and is using brutal methods to root out anyone who possesses magical abilities.

The Tears of Uther Pendragon ultimately set the stage for a season filled with drama, betrayal, and unexpected twists and turns. As Arthur and Merlin navigate the murky waters of Camelot, they must not only fight to save their friends and loved ones, but also to uphold their own sense of loyalty and honor in the face of overwhelming opposition.
