Gary and Tony are back with their hilarious misadventures in the highly popular sitcom, Men Behaving Badly. In season 2, episode 5 titled "Going Nowhere," our favorite pair of lovable, yet clueless, flatmates find themselves embarking on yet another disastrous escapade.
As the episode begins, Gary and Tony are sitting in their living room, bored out of their minds. Both of them are unemployed and struggling to find some purpose in their lives. Frustrated with their current predicament, Gary proposes a spontaneous road trip to the coast, hoping that a change of scenery might bring some excitement into their world.
Excited by the prospect of an adventure, Tony eagerly agrees, and they hastily pack their bags. However, their plans are immediately complicated by the fact that neither of them owns a car. Undeterred, they decide to borrow the flashy sports car of their friend, Dermot, without his knowledge or permission.
As Gary and Tony hit the road, they quickly realize that they are way out of their depth. Their lack of driving skills, combined with their innate ability to attract chaos, results in a series of comedy-filled encounters with the local authorities and some highly irate motorists. It becomes apparent that this road trip is going to be far from the relaxing and enjoyable experience they had initially envisioned.
In the midst of their disastrous journey, the duo stops by a remote pub for a much-needed break. Little do they know that this pub is a notorious haunt for a group of rowdy bikers. Unaware of the potential danger, Gary and Tony unwittingly find themselves in the middle of a biker brawl, desperately trying to avoid getting caught up in the chaos.
Meanwhile, back in their flat, Dorothy, their long-suffering neighbor and Gary's on-and-off girlfriend, becomes increasingly worried about their sudden disappearance. She enlists the help of her friend Deborah to decipher any clue that might lead to their whereabouts. Together, they embark on their own comical mission to find Gary and Tony, resulting in a trail of mishaps and misunderstandings.
Back on the road, Gary and Tony's trusty borrowed sports car begins to show signs of giving up on them. With each breakdown, they are faced with the dilemma of how to get themselves out of yet another predicament. As their journey continues, they encounter a series of eccentric characters who only add to the hilarity and chaos of their adventure.
With their friendship tested to its limits and their dreams of a grand adventure shattered, Gary and Tony must confront the reality of their situation and make some important decisions about their future. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about maturity, responsibility, and the importance of genuine human connections.
