Ep 18. Arousing Suspicion

Melrose Place season 2 episode 18, titled "Arousing Suspicion," opens with Rhonda and Terrance arguing about his upcoming business trip to Hong Kong. Later, Rhonda goes to see Lauren at the hospital and confides in her about her worries regarding Terrance. Lauren suggests that Rhonda hire a private investigator to follow him in Hong Kong. Rhonda is hesitant at first, but Lauren convinces her that it's the only way to ease her mind.

That night, Amanda throws a party at her house and invites everyone from Melrose Place. Allison shows up and tries to talk to Billy, but he tells her that he's moving on. Amanda sees Allison and Billy talking and gets jealous. After the party, Amanda and Billy end up sleeping together, much to Allison's dismay.

The next day, Rhonda meets with the private investigator she hired, but he doesn't have any information yet. She decides to take matters into her own hands and goes to Terrance's office to snoop around. She finds a love letter from a woman named Crystal and realizes that Terrance has been cheating on her.

Matt confronts Sarah about her involvement in the drug use and tells her that she needs to come clean. She admits that she's been struggling with addiction and asks for Matt's help. He agrees to help her get clean but warns her that she needs to take responsibility for her actions.

Rhonda goes to Crystal's apartment to confront her about the affair. Crystal is initially defensive but eventually admits that she's been seeing Terrance. Rhonda is heartbroken and ends things with Terrance when he returns from Hong Kong.

The episode ends with Billy and Amanda deciding to keep their fling a secret, Rhonda moving out of the apartment she shared with Terrance, and Sarah checking herself into rehab with Matt's help.
